Saint Anastasius of Cordoba, a devoted servant of the Church in medieval Spain, is remembered as one of the earliest martyrs of the Christian community in Cordoba. Born into the faithful, he served initially as a deacon within the church dedicated to Saint Acisclus in Cordoba.
