Biography

Saint Aleth of Dijon, daughter of the lord of Montbard, lived a life of profound faith as a laywoman and devoted wife. Married to Tecolin, she bore a family destined for holiness, most notably the future Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, alongside other children who embraced the religious life. Her vocation was expressed through deep piety and active service; she and her husband cultivated a fervent devotion to Saint Ambrosinian of Armenia, culminating in the construction of a chapel dedicated
